Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg hired the REED team to draw media attention to the resort’s opening. After a successful opening media campaign, the REED team was hired for ongoing PR support for months following.

Gatlinburg is known for its mountain cabins so when we were tasked with bringing a tropical brand to the Smokies, we knew highlighting the new offerings would be crucial in media outreach.
For the resort’s opening, REED created a detailed run of show that guided the opening night party. The account manager was on-site the week of opening coordinating media opportunities with Knoxville print and broadcast media while assisting with event logistics.
Post-opening, REED coordinated more than 26 media stays to showcase the property as THE place to stay in Gatlinburg.
We also nominated the resort for USA TODAY’s 10 Best New Hotel for 2018. A panel of hospitality and travel experts selected 20 hotels from across the nation as finalists for the annual competition, and Margaritaville Resort was voted number one by the public.
