Q&A: Meet Zoe Pitsinos, rock star intern

At REED, we’re blessed with the best – the best clients, the best colleagues and especially the best interns! We’re thrilled to welcome Zoe Pitsinos, another Lipscomb student, to the team this summer. Here’s everything you need to know about the newest member of our crew.

Name: Zoe Pitsinos

Job Title: Intern

Enneagram Number: Still deciding between 4, 9 and (maybe) 6!

Where is home for you?

I am from Huntsville, Ala., but I have been in Nashville for three years for college.

What do you love most about living in Nashville?

Nashville is such a fun place to explore with friends! I have a great community at school with whom I spend most of my free time, and Nashville has been an excellent environment to try new things. I can eat at delicious restaurants and experience much of the city without feeling overwhelmed.

If you could be a superhero, which one would you be?

I have spent a lot of time watching Marvel movies and I have to go with Doctor Strange. He has the coolest powers and, honestly, I really love that he can use the “sling ring” to teleport to different locations. Teleportation has always been the most desirable superpower for me!

What is a crazy story you love to tell at cocktail parties?

I was able to spend two weeks in Israel with my school a few summers ago for a Biblical Worldview trip. While we were there, we took a trip to the Sinai Peninsula and stayed a night in St. Catherine’s monastery. At 1:00 a.m. that morning (after sleeping for about 3 hours), we woke up to climb Mt. Sinai so that we could get to the top as the sun rose! Nothing too dramatic happened while we were there, but it was one of the coolest experiences of my life and I love to tell people about it and show them pictures.

What do you do for fun?

I really love hanging out with my friends and roommates. We have a few TV shows we always watch together, which has been a relaxing way to unwind after work and spend some quality time with my favorite people.

What’s your spirit animal and why?

I have never been able to choose a spirit animal, but I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I recently retook the Pottermore patronus quiz and got a Chestnut Stallion, and I think I’ll go with that 🙂

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I have to choose fries. I ate them three times in one day a few weeks ago and I still wasn’t tired of them! Some of my favorites are cheese fries from Cookout and homemade sweet potato fries.

Favorite quote?

“What is the meaning of life? That was all – a simple question; one that tended to close in on one with years. The great revelation had never come. The great revelation perhaps never did come. Instead, there were little daily miracles, illuminations, matches struck unexpectedly in the dark.”

– Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse

Last words?

REED is amazing and I’m so thrilled to be here!
