The REED team had the recent privilege of attending the PRSA Nashville Chapter’s 2023 Parthenon Awards at beautiful GEODIS Park in our own neighborhood, Wedgewood-Houston.
During a wonderful evening of celebration and camaraderie with our local public relations colleagues, we walked away with four major wins for communications efforts executed for clients in the past year.
– “Sustaining Love for the Loveless Cafe,” Media Relations – Consumer Products
REED leveraged longtime client Loveless Cafe’s narrative and expertise in the southern food industry to capture the attention of various media outlets. Achieved through tailored pitches, personalized visits to editorial teams and strategic approaches designed to present an irresistible story opportunity, REED implemented a year-long integrated PR campaign to achieve the goal of keeping the brand top of mind both locally and nationally. Overall, REED secured 364 pieces of coverage, reaching an audience of more than 893 million readers, viewers and listeners.
– “Music City Paradise: Margaritaville Hotel Nashville” – Media Relations – Consumer Services
As Nashville began its return to pre-COVID levels of tourism, REED positioned tropical brand Margaritaville Hotel Nashville as a dining destination for locals and a coveted stay for travelers near and far. Over the course of a year-long partnership, the REED team garnered 176 media hits and 262.4 million impressions in print, broadcast, online and publications’ social media outlets, including Travel+Leisure, Eater, Nashville’s Talk of Town, StyleBlueprint, Hotel Executive and WeddingChicks. Through a media stay secured by REED, the hotel was also chosen by Southern Living as the best place for a relaxing getaway in Nashville.

– “Building a premiere wealth strategist thought leader” – Executive Communications
In 2022, the REED team and Waddell & Associates set out to craft a fresh, honest perspective on wealth management with a uniquely female perspective that accurately represents Nashville president and senior wealth strategist Teresa J.W. Bailey’s passion for the topic. Armed with a strong personal brand and perspective, REED strategically aided Teresa by penning content on women-centric topics such as women advancing in the financial landscape and female economic empowerment. Featured in CNBC, ThinkAdvisor, The Tennessean, American City Business Journals, and more, REED’s strategic efforts garnered over 627 million impressions and 63 inclusions for Teresa over the 2022 calendar year.
– “Lifelong Vocation: Caregiving– Blakeford Senior Life” – Writing > Bylined Article
Since 2020, Blakeford Senior Life has partnered with REED to raise awareness of its services and amplify its staff and residents. Through working with the company’s director of nursing to capture her experience, REED secured a story placement in the Tennessean, syndicated to Yahoo and included in the Tennessean’s Tennessee Voices newsletter, which encourages others to pursue caregiving. Taking into account another inclusion by Kaiser Health News, in total REED garnered 38.2 million impressions for Blakeford, ultimately leading to an increase in the company’s talent pipeline in the months following.
