REED promotes Macey Cleary Binner to agency president

Macey Cleary Binner, longtime REED employee and business development lead, has been promoted from vice president to the newly created role of president. This promotion recognizes Macey’s acumen in client relationships and strategy, agency team leadership and business development.

Collaborating closely with CEO Lauren Reed Williams and the leadership team, Macey will guide all aspects of the organization’s growth to advance the agency’s commitment to being a data-driven PR agency with long-term clients.

“Having Macey as president is a game-changer for us,” said Reed. “Her vision aligns perfectly with our goals, and her expertise in client and business development strategies will undoubtedly propel REED as we continue our growth trajectory.”

Macey, a graduate of Auburn University, joined REED in 2016. After holding and excelling at coordinator, manager and supervisor positions, Macey was promoted to a leadership role in 2022 as an agency vice president. Part of her role included managing new business leads and REED’s growth trajectory. She secured nearly two dozen new clients in 2023, including one of the firm’s biggest accounts to date. As a result, REED experienced a 40 percent growth in revenue for 2023, with continued growth expected for 2024. Macey was named a 2023 Rising Star by PRNEWS, a national recognition reserved for a small percentage of PR professionals.

Macey’s role as president will be served alongside the entire leadership team, who collectively oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy for REED, one of Nashville’s fastest-growing agencies, serving clients across all industries, locally and nationally.
