Kayla has a way with words.
Written words, that is.
As if she doesn’t spend enough time writing creative and thoughtful releases, social media content and statements for our clients, Kayla dedicates a portion of her free time to running a poetry blog.
But that’s Kayla for you. The Lipscomb graduate exhibits real hustle and eagerness to jump in on any project. In short, she’s a team player. And she won’t check something off her list until it’s done really, really well.
Take, for example, her approach to coffee. Kayla loves trying new coffee shops around Nashville. Rather than casually popping into her favorite places, Kayla is on a mission to check out every single coffee shop in Nashville—no small feat in a city with over three dozen spots.
When she’s not writing poetry or sipping a latte, the Maryville, Tenn. native spends every remaining moment of free time outside. She’s a big fan of Nashville’s sense of community, which she finds traversing local hiking trails, cheering at Nashville SC games and playing on intramural soccer teams.
We asked Kayla if she had any final words—a tough request for a poet and PR professional, we know—and Kayla said, “10/10 would recommend working at REED.”
What did we tell you? Kayla knows what she’s talking—er, writing about.
