Like Netflix and wine

Rachel and public relations go together like a bottle of wine and the release of a new Netflix series. It just works.

At her core, Rachel is a relationship person. She excels at building connections with everyone around her, whether they are clients, colleagues, media contacts or vendors. This PR grad from Lee University enjoys helping people and seeing a project go from conception to execution, keeping client happiness and expectations top of mind at all times.

It’s not enough to meet a client’s goals for Rachel – she wants to exceed them. And she’s done just that for clients such as Hunter Industrial Fans, AC Hotels by Marriott and Orangetheory Fitness — to name a few. She believes in being proactive. She doesn’t wait around to be told what to do. She thrives on getting results done for her clients.

Of all the projects she’s worked on, she’ll tell you one of her biggest accomplishments is orchestrating the creation and launch of a three-year workforce development campaign with the Bradley County/Cleveland Chamber of Commerce that connected people in the community with well-paying, sustainable careers by educating them that many jobs require only a two-year degree or less and no student loan debt.

But Rachel doesn’t always stay behind the scenes.

She was named one of PRWeek’s “Champions in PR” in 2018. She was one of just 30 women to receive the annual award, and the only recipient from the state of Tennessee. To say we’re crazy proud is an understatement. And we were only slightly jealous following her Insta stories from the awards ceremony in NYC.

Then there was that time she got tickets to Live! With Regis and Kelly in NYC and she snagged a few minutes of air time when Kelly Ripa selected her to win the audience prize that day – $500 in kitchen appliances. Not the best prize for a young college student, but it makes for a great story to tell in her company bio years later.

When she’s not working or winning talk show prizes, Rachel is probably at home posted up on the couch watching Netflix with a nice glass of wine and freshly baked cookies with her husband and dog.
